Reason:
This message is issued at the startup of CA 7 Online and right after midnight to show the current allocations of each CA Datacom/AD area. The full percentage that is shown is from the current allocation only. If CA Datacom/AD can obtain another extent, the full percentage sometimes decreases.
To see the current area allocations, use the following command:
/DISPLAY,PERF=DATACOM
To see information about the CA Datacom/AD MUF that CA 7 is using, use the following command:
/DISPLAY,DB=DATACOM
Note: The member AL2DBSPC in the CA WA CA 7 Edition JCL library CAL2JCL is a batch job that shows more information about the current CA Datacom/AD area utilization. As the comments for the job mention, you can remove ',TYPE=A' from the command to get more information. One example is the data set name for the area.
