Reason:
The user called the SVSTATUS macro requesting control block xxxx as the keyname in the keyblock specified. There are two possible reasons for this error. Either the location pointed to by the VSCB for that control block does not contain the proper eyecatcher for the control block indicating a system problem or the VSCB pointer is zero, indicating the control block does not exist.
Action:
Most database control blocks anchored off the VSCB are created at initialization time. A few, such as the BACKUP VDCB, are only present after connection has been performed. Ensure that SVINIT and SVCONN have been called before SVSTATUS. If not, correct code and retry. Otherwise, save console logs and listings. Contact your installation specialist for assistance.
