Reason:
The request to cancel a CPU job was successful. If noted, the CA WA Restart Option CMT was cleared to prevent erroneous restarts. If a job is canceled after being submitted, but is still in the active or ready queue, the CMT is not cleared and this may need to be done manually.
If REASON= is used for the cancel, and the initialization file CANCEL statement is used with REASON=NO, then the REASON IGNORED shows.
If you cancel by number (nnnn), any network records (PREQ/PSTQ) are also canceled. If you have NEXT-RUN values to verify, they are indicated.
The message displays JOBL only when a CANCEL is requested using a long job name.
Action:
If the job being canceled was in the active queue, or had been submitted and was in the ready queue, an OS cancel is also required to terminate execution.
