SSM0-37
JOB xxxxxxx (nnnn) NOT SUBMITTED TO yyyyyyyy.
NO UID SELECTED OR UID INVALID - JCL UPDATE REQUIRED
HAS BEEN MOVED BACK TO THE REQUEST 'Q'
Reason:
An attempt was made to submit a job for execution, but the job's JCL did not contain a valid USERID or a valid USERID was not available for JCL insertion. The job is moved back to the request queue with a status of R-NOUID.
These are some of the circumstances that can cause this message:
- The SUBUID was coded on the SECURITY statement of the initialization file specifying a submission hierarchy, but no valid USERID was available for the job. SUBNOID=NO would also have to be coded on the SECURITY statement.
- No valid default USERID is specified.
- JCLUID=NO is coded in the SECURITY statement of the initialization file and the job has a USERID coded in the JCL.
- The job has a USERID coded in the JCL but CA WA CA 7 Edition does not have submit security access for the USERID.
Action:
Edit the request queue JCL. If an invalid USERID is coded, correct the USERID. If QJCL is specified on the SUBUID parameter, you can remove an invalid USERID (or leave the JCL unchanged if there is not a USERID in the JCL) and then replace the request queue JCL.
