The DMPDSCB command displays the Format 1 data set control block (DSCB) for a specific data set. This function is available on the UT Menu panel as FUNCTION value 13 or on any other menu or formatted panel as FUNCTION value UT.13.
This command has the following format:
DMPDSCB,DSN=dsname[,VOL=volume]
Defines the fully qualified name of the data set whose data set control block (DSCB) is to be displayed.
Limits: 1 to 44 alphanumeric characters
(Optional) Defines the volume on which the data set resides. If omitted, the catalog is searched to determine the volume.
Limits: 1 to 6 alphanumeric characters
