JOBSTART Command

The JOBSTART command sends a request to an SAP agent to start a job that was previously submitted with STARTMODE=N. This command is only valid for BDC_JOB and SAP_JOB job types that are in the ACT queue.

This command has the following format:

JOBSTART,JOB=jobnumber,MODE={A|I}
JOB

Specifies the specific CA 7 job number for the agent job needing the STARTMODE change.

Limits: 1 to 4 numeric characters

MODE

Specifies the STARTMODE.

A

Releases the job as soon as possible.

I

Releases the job immediately.
