UT.8 - Connect a Catalog Panel

The UT.8 panel connects high-level indexes from the SYSRES catalog to another catalog.

 MESSAGE:

To display, enter:

8 as the FUNCTION on the UT panel.
UT.8 as the FUNCTION on any other menu or formatted input panel.
UT.8 as a top line command.
If an error is encountered with a top line CONN command, this panel is returned.

To exit:

Position the cursor to the top line and enter a CA WA CA 7 Edition command.
Provide the name of some other menu or formatted input panel in the FUNCTION field.
Use a PF key.

This panel contains the following fields:

FUNCTION: Used only to transfer to another menu or some other formatted panel function that is only offered on another menu. Enter the name of the desired panel.
INDEX: High-level index name to be connected to SYSRES. Required.
VOLSER: VOLSER of the connected volume. Connected volume must be available to CA WA CA 7 Edition through U7volser DD statement, top line ALLOC command or function 11 on the UT Menu panel. Required.
