(rc) CATALOG STRUCTURE INCONSISTENT WITH REQUEST

Reason:

Problem can occur when issuing the BLDG command on a VSAM catalog. Probable causes are:

CA Workload Automation SE is using the IBM CAMLIST Structure, which is limited to use with CVOL catalogs.
The necessary index structure is not built.

Action:

Several actions are possible:

If the catalog is a VSAM catalog, use some other means outside of CA Workload Automation SE to build the index, for example, IDCAMS.
If attempting to do a BLDG for A.B.C, then do the following CA Workload Automation SE commands:
- CAT,DSN=A.B.X,VOL=A,DVC=00000000
- BLDG,INDX=A.B.C, plus any other needed parameters
- UNC,DSN=A.B.X
