CA-7 IDS FAILURE. RC=nnnnnnnn

Reason:

An unexpected error occurred while accessing or updating the CA Workload Automation SE IDS. If the error occurred during a LOAD of a job, this message could indicate a DSN that is not cataloged or had no VOLSER specified in the JCL. If RC=0, the IDS is full and must be expanded.

Action:

If the error was a DSN not cataloged or no VOLSER specified, either catalog the DSN or add a VOLSER parameter to the JCL, and reissue the LOAD command. If RC=0:

1. Shut down CA Workload Automation SE.
2. Back up the entire database.
3. Reallocate the IDS.
4. Reload the database while CA Workload Automation SE is down.
5. Bring up CA Workload Automation SE with TYPE=ERST.
