Reason:

An error has occurred during CA Workload Automation SE system checkpoint activity because of one of the following:

• The Checkpoint data set is on a device type different from the queues.
• The Checkpoint data set was not allocated on a cylinder boundary.
• Not enough space is allocated to the Checkpoint data set.
• An I/O error.

Action:

CA Workload Automation SE remains in a wait state until a reply of Y is done. Recycle CA Workload Automation SE as soon as possible. Reply Y and shut down CA Workload Automation SE as soon as possible or cancel CA Workload Automation SE with a dump.

When Checkpointing is not done, Schedule Scan can rescan previous time frames bringing in jobs that have already executed. Also, WLB definitions do not always reflect current values. The queue data sets do not show jobs that should be showing. All of these things can happen when CA Workload Automation SE is not recycled as soon as possible.
