- **WARNING** 80% xxxxxxx QUEUE UTILIZATION **WARNING**

Reason:

Eighty percent of the queue indicated by xxxxxxx has been used. One of the following values replaces xxxxxxx, indicating which queue has reached 80 percent use: SCRATCH, DQTABLE, TRAILER, REQUEST, READY, ACTIVE, or PRRNQ.

Action:

Perform one of the following actions:

• Recycle CA Workload Automation SE using TYPE=ERST if xxxxxxx indicates SCRATCH or DQTABLE.
• Verify the allocation of the queue with the command /DISPLAY,Q=ALL if xxxxxxx indicates TRAILER.

  To reduce trailer queue usage, delete retained JCL for jobs (see the PRRNJCL command) or delete jobs from the request, ready, or active queues.

• Determine whether workflow is flowing through the system or whether the ready queue is in a stopped state if xxxxxxx indicates REQUEST.

  To prevent workflow from entering the queues, you can enter STOP,Q=REQ until that workflow starts moving through the queues again. If you entered the STOP command, enter the START command to resume workflow through the queues.

• Determine why jobs are being held in the ready queue if xxxxxxx indicates READY.

  Is the ready queue stopped? Are VRM resources properly configured?

• Determine whether ICOM is active on LPARs where CA Workload Automation SE submits jobs if xxxxxxx indicates ACTIVE.

  If ICOMs are active, are there any issues in the operating system, especially SMF feedback area?

• Determine what jobs you can delete from the prior run queue and delete them if xxxxxxx indicates PRRNQ.

To prevent future space shortages, consider increasing the size of the queue indicated by xxxxxxx.
