Reason:

VSAM open failed for data set x...x. If RC=8, REAS may be one of the following:

• 128 - DD statement is missing
• 131 - Incorrect volume
• 136 - Insufficient storage
• 148 - No record in catalog
• 168 - DSN not on volume specified in DBPARMS
• 180 - Probably wrong DSN on STEPCAT

Action:

Save console listings and logs. Contact your installation specialist for assistance.
