POSSIBLE TRACKING DATA LOST IN CSA

Reason:

A CSA storage overlay has been detected by CA Workload Automation SE. An external source has overlaid a chain used by CA Workload Automation SE.

The loss of tracking data can result in various CA Workload Automation SE problems. For example:

• A job may stay in the ACTQ and never go back to the REQQ for completion processing.
• A job may stay in the RDYQ and never go to the ACTQ.
• A data set posting may never automatically occur.

Action:

Many CSA overlays cause the entire system to fail; hence, an IPL should be done as soon as possible. CA Workload Automation SE can sometimes recognize if its data has been overlaid and attempts a partial recovery; however, since CSA has been overlaid, an IPL should be scheduled as soon as possible.
