Reason:
The use of XCF was specified, but ICOM could not contact CA Workload Automation SE through XCF. WIP stands for "where in place" in the ICOM program the WTO is issued. The following values for WIP give further explanation:
Indicates the SMF tracking data is being written to the XCF data set and continues until the data set is full.
Indicates the data is being buffered in CSA, and the message is reissued every minute.
Indicates ICOM has lost communication with CA Workload Automation SE. The message is issued once a minute for two minutes. If, by the end of that time, ICOM still cannot communicate with CA Workload Automation SE, ICOM turns off the use of XCF to communicate with CA Workload Automation SE.
Indicates ICOM has determined that CA Workload Automation SE has just joined the XCF group, but CA Workload Automation SE is not communicating properly with ICOM. The message is issued once a minute for two minutes. If, by the end of that time, ICOM still cannot communicate properly with CA Workload Automation SE, ICOM turns off the use of XCF to communicate with CA Workload Automation SE.
Action:
Determine the cause of the message. Usually, CA Workload Automation SE is not active or was not started specifying the use of XCF. If necessary, contact either your local systems programmer or your installation specialist for assistance.
