STOP Command

The STOP top line command temporarily suspends normal job movement in either the request or ready queues, or both.

This command has the following format:

►►─ STOP ─ ,Q= ─┬─ ALL ─┬─────────────────────────────────────────────────────►◄
                ├─ RDY ─┤
                └─ REQ ─┘

Q

Identifies the queues to suspend. Queues can be restarted with the START command.

ALL

Causes both the request and ready queues to be suspended.

RDY

Causes the ready queue to be suspended.

REQ

Causes the request queue to be suspended.
