Uninstall the Agent

You uninstall CA WA Agent for HP Integrity NonStop using an interactive program that prompts you for the required information.

To uninstall CA WA Agent for HP Integrity NonStop

1. Log in as SUPER.SUPER
2. Uninstall the agent using the following command:

   installation_volume.CARELSCR.DEINSTAL
   

3. Continue with the uninstallation by entering the required information:

   Do you wish to deinstall ALL the agent software?

   Indicates whether you wish to uninstall all the agent software.

   • Y—Uninstalls all of the agent software.
   • N—Does not uninstall the agent software.

   Default: N

   Are you sure EVERY agent function should be deinstalled?

   Indicates whether you want to uninstall every agent function.

   • Y—Uninstalls all agent function.
   • N—Does not uninstall the agent function.

   Default: N

   The agent is uninstalled.

Note: The CARELSCR.TACLSEGF file may not be automatically purged after uninstalling. This file remains open and cannot be purged until all currently attached TACL sessions are detached.
