The Spool File Attributes dialog opens when you select Spool File from the Actions drop-down list in the Job Runs section. This dialog lets you specify how the spool file should be displayed.
You must select one of the following options:
This dialog contains the following fields when Selection criteria is selected:
Specifies a text string to search for.
Note: You cannot use wildcards in this field.
Specifies to retrieve the last match of the specified text string within the specified range.
Note: To retrieve all matches, clear this check box.
Lets you select one of the following types of data to enter in the Start of range and End of range fields:
Specifies the start point of the spool file portion to be retrieved in lines, bytes, kilobytes, or megabytes.
Specifies the end point of the spool file portion to be retrieved in lines, bytes, kilobytes, or megabytes.
This dialog contains the following field when Line numbers is selected:
Specifies the number of lines to retrieve, counting backwards from the end of the spool file.
Selects the appropriate spool file for a z/OS Regular or i5/OS job from the Available Spool Files table in the dialog.
Note: This is the only field in the dialog for a z/OS Regular job.
This dialog contains the following buttons:
Displays the spool file at the indicated point and closes the dialog.
Discards your settings and closes the dialog.
