Put a Job on Hold

You can use the On Hold command to send a JOB_ON_HOLD event to the selected job or box job. Jobs that are on hold do not start, temporarily preventing the remainder of the job flow from executing. If the job's status is STARTING or RUNNING, the On Hold command has no effect.

Note: A box job cannot successfully complete if a job in it is on hold.

Follow these steps:

  1. Find a job.

    One of the following occurs:

  2. (Optional) Click the name of the job in the Search Results section for which you want to display details.

    Detailed information about the job is displayed.

  3. Do one of the following:

    A confirmation prompt appears.

  4. Click Yes.

    The job is put on hold.
