Wake on LAN jobs let you use the Wake on LAN (WOL) feature of the agent to automate the startup and shutdown of your computers. You can define and schedule a Wake on LAN job to send a signal to a server to power it up. When the server is no longer needed, you can schedule a different command job to power it down.
Note: To run these jobs, your system requires CA WA Agent for UNIX, Linux, or Windows.
