The Properties section lets you view or edit the properties of a selected job, box job, calendar, cycle, or global variable by categories. The categories that display for each object are dependent on the type of object you are creating or modifying. A job consists of a job type-specific category and common categories that apply to all job types. For example, the Command job consists of a Command category which is job type-specific, and the common categories that apply to all job types: Primary, Environment, Termination, Schedule, Notification, and Native Security Permissions.

This section contains the following field:
Specifies the action to perform, letting you copy an object and, if applicable, view or create a job override, or create a job in the selected box job. This appears only when editing an existing object.
This section contains the following buttons and links:
Collapses all property groups. This does not appear for standard calendars.
Deletes the current object. This appears only when editing an existing object.
Expands all property groups. This does not appear for standard calendars.
Opens the Extended Calendar Preview dialog. This appears only for extended calendars.
Performs the action selected from the Actions drop-down list. This appears only when editing an existing object.
Reloads the object from the server and returns all fields to their last-saved values. This appears only when editing an existing object.
Discards your changes and returns all fields to their initial values. This appears only when creating a new object.
Saves your changes.
