Delete an Alert Policy

If you no longer need the alert policy, you can delete it.

Follow these steps:

  1. Find the appropriate alert policy.
  2. Right-click that policy and select Delete from the pop-up menu.

    Note: To delete multiple alert policies at one time, use the Shift or Ctrl key and mouse to select the alert policies to delete. Next, right-click, and select Delete from the pop-up menu.

    The View Management Console dialog opens with the delete_alert_policy: policy_name command in the Commands pane.

  3. Click Execute.

    CA WCC verifies the validity of the command. If the validity check encounters problems, a message is displayed describing the error. If the validity check succeeds, the command is executed and the alert policy is deleted.

  4. Click Close.

    The View Management Console dialog closes.
