Cancel Server Event Dialog

You can use the Cancel Server Event dialog to cancel an event previously scheduled for all CA Workload Automation AE jobs associated with a specific server, group, or application.

This dialog contains the following fields:

Server Names

Displays the selected servers on which you can act. This field is read-only.

Event

Specifies the event to cancel for the selected jobs or box jobs.

The following options are available:

Note: When you select Set Global, you must also specify the name of the global variable for which to cancel the Set Global event in the Global field. Group and Application cannot be specified when canceling a Set Global event.

Default: Start

Group

Defines the group with which the relevant jobs are associated. This field displays when you select the Group option.

Application

Defines the application with which the relevant jobs are associated. This field displays when you select the Application option.

Global Name

(Optional) Identifies the name of the global variable for which to cancel the Set Global event.

Future Date

(Optional) Specifies to cancel an event scheduled to run on this specific date. Clicking Clicking the Date Picker icon opens a graphical calendar from which you can select a date. opens the Date Picker, so you can select a date to populate the Future Date field.

Limits: Varies depending on the selection for Format Locale in the My Profile dialog

Example: 7/16/09

Default: The current date

Future Time

(Optional) Specifies to cancel an event scheduled to run at this specific time.

Limits: 24 hour format

Example: 05:15

This dialog contains the following buttons:

OK

Sends the event and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Discards your settings and closes the dialog.
