From the Box Jobs table, you can initiate an action on one or more box jobs.
This section contains the following columns:
Specifies whether an item is marked for processing. Selecting the check box next to an item indicates that the item should be processed.
Displays the name of the box job. Clicking the name of a box job opens Quick View, letting you view the properties for the box job.
Displays the current status of the box job.
Displays the name of the server where the box job is defined.
Displays the time of the last status change.
Lets you select an action to be performed on the items marked for processing.
The following actions are available:
Sends a STARTJOB event to the job.
Sends a FORCE_STARTJOB event that starts the job, regardless of any starting conditions or dependencies set for it.
Sends a JOB_ON_HOLD event that instructs the scheduling manager to change the job’s status to ON_HOLD.
Sends a JOB_OFF_HOLD event that instructs the scheduling manager to change the job's status to OFF_HOLD.
Sends a JOB_ON_ICE event that instructs the scheduling manager to change the job's status to ON_ICE, which is the functional equivalent of deactivating the job definition.
Sends a JOB_OFF_ICE event that instructs the scheduling manager to change the job's status to OFF_ICE, which is the functional equivalent of activating the job definition.
Sends a KILLJOB event that instructs the scheduling manager to terminate the job.
Opens the Send Event dialog so you can define an event to send for the selected job.
Opens the Cancel Event dialog so you can cancel an event sent for a job using the Send Event command.
This section contains the following icons in the Actions column:
Displays the properties for the selected box job in the Job Properties section.
Opens Quick Edit in context, so you can edit the properties for the selected box job.
Opens the Box Job Details page, so you can view all of the jobs in the selected box job.
This section contains the following buttons and links:
Performs the action selected from the Select and drop-down list.
