Command Editor Dialog

The Command Editor dialog lets you edit or save a command.

This dialog contains the following fields:

Servers

Specifies the CA Workload Automation AE servers on which the command will run.

Note: If you specify more than one server, each name must be separated by a comma and a space.

Command

Specifies the command to run. Each command argument must be separated by a space.

Note: You cannot run interactive commands. For example, you cannot run the autosys_secure command because the response from the server is blocked and you will not be able to make the selection required to complete the request.

[Save To]

Specifies the list that the command should be saved to. (My Commands or Global Commands).

Name

Specifies the name of the command when saved.

Description

Specifies an optional comment that describes the command.

This dialog contains the following buttons:

Click to search for an object.

Opens the Server Selection dialog.

Save To

Saves the command to the selected list (My Commands or Global Commands).

Print

Opens the Print dialog so you can select a printer, modify its settings, and print the command text.

Reset

Clears the Servers, Command, Name, and Description fields.

Refresh

Loads the Servers, Command and Description fields with the information for the command specified in the Name field.

OK

Closes the dialog.

Cancel

Discards your settings and closes the dialog.
