General Tab

The General tab is displayed in the Customize dialog when you click Customize in the Application Editor title bar and then select the General tab. You can use the General tab in the Customize dialog to hide the SAP drag and drop panes, specify the number of rows per page to display in the SAP drag and drop panes, and to customize other settings.

Note: Each user can specify values here that override the Preferences settings in Configuration Manager. When you click Default, the values revert to the Configuration Manager settings.

This tab contains the following fields:

Rows per Page for SAP Filters

Specifies the number of rows per page to display in the SAP Filters pane. Valid values are: 10, 20, 50, 100.

Default: 20

Rows per Page for SAP Filter Results

Specifies the number of rows per page to display in the SAP Filter Results pane. Valid values are: 10, 20, 50, 100.

Default: 50

Rows per Page for Import Jobs Dialog

Specifies the number of rows per page to display in the Search Results table in the Import Jobs dialog. Valid values are: 10, 20, 50, 100.

Default: 50

Rows per Page for Search Results in Dialog

Specifies the number of rows per page to display in the Search Results table in search dialogs. Valid values are: 10, 20, 50, 100.

Default: 20

Hide SAP Drag and Drop Panes

Indicates whether to hide the SAP drag and drop panes. When this option is selected, the SAP Filters and SAP Filter Results panes are hidden.

Default: Not Selected

Description Column Length

Specifies the maximum number of characters to display in the Description field of the search results in the Import Jobs dialog.

Limits: 0-500

Default: 500

Maximum Number of Imported Jobs

Specifies the maximum number of jobs to import into Application Editor at any given time.

Limits: 1-5000

Default: 1000

New Job Name Default

Specifies the default name to use for new jobs dropped into the Graph.

Limits: Up to 64 alphanumeric characters; valid characters are a-z, A-Z, 0-9, period (.), underscore (_), space ( ), and hyphen (-)

Default: {1} Job {0}

Examples:

• Specifying Job {0} results in a job named Job_1 for the first new non-template Command job you drop on to the Graph.
• Specifying ACCT {1} job {0} results in a job named ACCT_Command_job_1 for the first new non-template Command job you drop on to the Graph.

Notes:

• In the default expression, {0} is required; {1} is optional.
• When the job is dropped on the Graph, the following occurs:
  • {0} is replaced by a unique number.
  • {1} is replaced by the job type if a non-template job is dragged from the Palette.
  • {1} is replaced by the template name if a job template is dragged from the Palette.
  • {1} is replaced by the SAP job name if a job is dragged from the SAP Filter Results pane.

Maximum Flow Height (pixels)

Specifies the maximum height of the Graph in pixels.

Limits: 507-9999

Default: 570

Left Side Panels Maximum Width (pixels)

Specifies the width of the Palette, Delete List, and Overview panes in pixels.

Limits: 250-500
