In a cluster environment, CA Workload Automation AE components can maintain communication with the active server components that are under the control of the cluster manager when you specify a Manager Hostname Alias. Use the same Manager Hostname Alias on each node in the cluster.
Note: The cluster manager restarts CA Workload Automation AE server components when they fail. Other CA Workload Automation AE components can lose communication with server components that the cluster manager restarts when you do not use the same Manager Hostname Alias for every node in the cluster.
Follow these steps:
The Instance - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window opens.
The Services - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window appears, displaying a list of services that are installed on the selected instance.
The scheduler, application server, and the agent stop.
