FileSystem Threshold KB

The FileSystem Threshold KB parameter defines the minimum amount of disk space that must be available to write to the scheduler log.

The following field on the Scheduler - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window lets you define this parameter:

FileSystem Threshold KB

Defines the minimum amount of disk space that must be available to write to the scheduler log.

Default: 20480 KB (20 MB)

Limits: 8192 KB (8 MB)-102400 KB (100 MB)

Notes:

If the specified value is not in the valid range, the scheduler issues a warning message and resets the value to the default.
On UNIX, the equivalent configuration parameter is FileSystemThreshold.

If the available disk space falls below the specified value, the scheduler issues warning messages every minute. If the disk space falls below 8192 KB (8 MB), the scheduler issues an EP_SHUTDOWN alarm and shuts down.

The scheduler passes the FileSystem Threshold setting to the legacy agents when running a job. If the available disk space falls below the specified value, the legacy agents write dots in the agent log file. If the available disk space falls below 8192 KB (8 MB), the legacy agents issue a warning and stop writing to the log file, but the legacy agent service keeps running.
