Define the JRE Path or Java Classpath for the Local Agent

You can define the JRE path or the Java classpath used by the local agent.

Note: The Java classpath must include the path to casocket.jar if the local agent is communicating over SSA.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, Programs, CA, Workload Automation AE, Administrator.

    The Instance - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window opens.

  2. Click the Services icon on the toolbar.

    The Services - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window appears.

  3. Right-click the agent and select Stop.

    The agent stops.

  4. Click the Agent icon on the toolbar.

    The Agent - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window appears.

  5. Select the local agent you want to define the JRE path or Java classpath for from the Local Agent Name drop-down list.

    The Agent - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window displays the settings of the selected local agent.

  6. Enter the JRE path in the JRE Path field or the Java classpath in the Java Classpath field, and click Apply.
  7. Click the Services icon on the toolbar.

    The Services - CA Workload Automation AE Administrator window appears.

  8. Right-click the agent and select Start.

    The agent starts. The JRE path or the Java classpath for the local agent is defined.
