vCenter Automation and Policy Actions

The following action types are available for use with VMware vCenter Server:

• Add Disk
• Add Network Interface
• Configure Shares
• Configure CPU/Memory
• Configure Power
• Convert Template to Virtual Machine
• Convert Virtual Machine to Template
• Delete Machine
• Manage VM Snapshots
• Modify CPU
• Modify Memory
• Provision Machine
• Remove Disk
• Remove Network Interface
• Migrate Machine

You can use these action types to create new actions that automate vCenter power, resource allocation, and other operations when assigned rule criteria are met. You can also schedule these actions to occur at specific times.
