The dashboard can give you quick view of your portlets. You can customize your dashboard to display the most critical portlets. To display these portlets on the dashboard, drag the required portlets from the Components pane to the dashboard area.
Once a portlet is available on the dashboard or Analytics tab area, you can refresh and modify the critical threshold, warning threshold, and averaging interval from the Settings option. By default, portlets refresh data automatically in a specific time interval. Use the Refresh button to refresh data as required.
The values on the portlet appear in red and yellow color based on threshold values. You can configure these rules to suit your requirements.
You can display more than one instance of a portlet. You can use multiple instances to monitor utilization with different settings.
Note: Portlets retain their settings on the dashboard only if you save the entire dashboard view.
