Reverting to a Prior Installation › Revert to Release 11.7

Revert to Release 11.7

You can revert to CA View Release r11.7, if required.

Follow these steps:

  1. Use the CA View Version 12.0 SARDBASE utility to set the version of your CA View database back to a CA View Release r11.7 database. The format of the VERSION control statement is:

    VERSION 11.7

    Note: If your CA View database is currently versioned to release level Release r11.7 or earlier, skip steps 1 and 2.

  2. Use the CA View Release r11.7 release SARDBASE utility to OLOAD the Release r11.7 online panel library into your database.
  3. Use the CA View Release r11.7 release SARDBASE utility to BLOAD the Release r11.7 banner page library to your database.
  4. If you modified any of the CA View user exits, revert to your Release r11.7 versions of the exits.
  5. Change your JCL, Procs, and started task JCL to point to the Release r11.7 libraries.
  6. If the Version 12.0 load library was link listed, revert to the Release r11.7 link listed library.
