Panels

Most panels have the same header format. A sample panel is shown next, followed by an explanation of the common areas.

1 - name area: Indicates the name of the test stream when a specific test stream is being processed; otherwise, it contains dashes.
2 - title: Identifies the menu.
3 - message area: Contains an error or informational message; otherwise, contains the time.
4 - command area: Use this field to type a command, option, or parameter.
5 - extended message area: Displays an extended, numbered message if you type the Help (PF1) command when an error message appears in the message area 3. At other times, instructions on how to proceed will appear.
