Reason:
During the Shared Tape Allocation Manager (STAM) initialization, an attempt to vary off a 3480 drive failed. Initialization continues and the device that failed is flagged as not available to STAM.
Action:
See the z/VM Operator's Guide appropriate for your system for the meaning of the response and take the appropriate action.
