Reason:
A permanent error occurred during an attempt to update the Shared Tape Allocation Manager (STAM) control file. STAM ends abnormally.
Action:
Start STAM again on the affected system. If the error persists, ask the CA VM:Tape system administrator to move the STAM control file to a different DASD device. If this does not correct the problem, contact your system support personnel.
