Reason:
The device specified in the STAM parameter file does not have a corresponding DEVICE record specified in the VMTAPE CONFIG file. Shared Tape Allocation Manager (STAM) initialization continues. The device is marked invalid.
Action:
Ask the CA VM:Tape system administrator to change or omit the indicated device address in the STAM parameter file, or specify a corresponding DEVICE record in the VMTAPE CONFIG file.
