Reason:
A permanent I/O error occurred while reading of the STAM parameter file. Shared Tape Allocation Manager (STAM) initialization aborts. If the VMTAPE CONFIG file specifies STAM AUTO, CA VM:Tape initialization also fails.
Action:
Read the accompanying CMS error messages to determine the cause of the failure. If you cannot resolve the problem, contact your system support personnel.
