Reason:
While performing multivolume processing (processing of files that extend across multiple tape volumes), CA VM:Tape tried to reclaim a drive from a user's virtual machine to process a multiple volume request. The attempted DETACH failed. CA VM:Tape ends the request.
Action:
Ask the CA VM:Tape system administrator to verify that the CMS volume switching exit (DMSTVS or DMSTVI) is properly installed and operational.
