Reason:

You initiated the VMTMACUP EXEC to update a file. The VMTMACUP EXEC reads the VMTMACUP DATA file to determine the file type of the source file that you want to update. The file type it obtained does not begin with a dollar sign ($). To update a file, its file type must begin with a dollar sign ($). The EXEC ends without updating the file.

Action:

If you have modified the VMTMACUP DATA file since it was loaded from the CA VM:Tape installation tape, reload a new version. Otherwise, contact Technical Support.
