Reason:
The Inter-User Communication Vehicle (IUCV) allows a user to talk with the CA VM:Tape service virtual machine. CA VM:Tape is unable to initialize an IUCV interface to communicate with other virtual machines. CA VM:Tape initialization fails.
Action:
Refer to the IBM documentation on CMS macros and functions for an explanation of the return codes from the HNDIUCV macro. Correct the problem and start CA VM:Tape again. If necessary, contact Technical Support.
