When you finish using a tape mounted on an ACL-equipped tape drive, CA VM:Tape unloads the tape but does not eject it until it is time to mount another tape on the drive. If you want to mount a saved tape or a specific scratch tape on a tape drive equipped with an ACL, you must manually remove the tape that is currently in the drive, then load the saved or specific scratch tape and press the green START button.
Important! Do not move the control switch from the SYSTEM setting.
