When a user asks CA VM:Tape to mount a tape, CA VM:Tape sometimes prompts the operator for information. Use the REPLY command to display pending prompts and to respond to these prompts.
Read mount prompts require a single reply. To protect against entry errors, write mount prompts require two replies. Certain types of tape mount prompts, such as those for foreign tape mounts, require that you respond with the volser of the tape.
