Use the LABEL BLP option to have CA VM:Tape bypass label processing. You might use this type of label processing when you know that the correct tape is being mounted but the internal label may cause problems (for example, because the label cannot be read, it does not match the volser specified on the mount request, or the tape has not been initialized).
CA VM:Tape does not try to read the internal label on the tape. Instead it prompts the operator for the volser on the external label. If that volser matches the volser specified on the mount request, CA VM:Tape proceeds with the mount. If the volsers do not match, CA VM:Tape unloads the tape and asks the operator to mount the correct tape.
