Primitive Syntax

Use the following syntax for the SET primitive with the ALLOCATE user exit:

SET   EDL [ NOREORDER ] dev1  [ACTIVE|EXEMPT]…
          [ NOREORDER ] dev2  [ACTIVE|EXEMPT]]…
          [ NOREORDER ] devn  [ACTIVE|EXEMPT]]
  POOLname poolname
  BUFFER string        ]

Use the following syntax for the SET primitive with the COMMAND user exit:

SET {BUFFER string
        COMMAND command-string}
        EDL [ NOREORDER ] dev1  [ACTIVE|EXEMPT]…
          [ NOREORDER ] dev2  [ACTIVE|EXEMPT]]…
          [ NOREORDER ] devn  [ACTIVE|EXEMPT]]
