Users can request an explicit Tape Library Data Server by specifying the location with the LOCATION option on the MOUNT and ALLOCATE commands. Use the QUERY LOCATION * command to list available locations and their current interface status.
Users can use the CA VM:Tape CHANGE command to redirect their mount requests to use an RMS location.
