Use DEV entries to identify each tape drive to be shared. DEV entries have the following format:
device DEV address1,address2,addressn
An easy way to construct these entries is to draw a simple chart like the one shown below. In the first column, list the global names for each device. In the remaining columns, list the actual hardware address of the device on each system (in this example, we use systems SYS1, VMT2 and VMT3). These hardware addresses must be the same as those defined to each system on the CA VM:Tape DEVICE record in the configuration file.
