Scratch pool assignments are based only on user ID (JOB) without regard to system of origin, thus allowing two identical user IDs on two different systems to access the same tapes without any special authorization. With servers such as CA VM:Backup, ensure that each server uses a separate pool to avoid accidental data loss.
