Prototype

The name of the prototype exit is VMTEXIT3 5ASSEMBL.

The prototype initiates CA VM:Tape standard label processing for standard label (SL) tapes. It also does a volser check between the TMC and the label for non-labeled (NL) tapes and causes CA VM:Tape to reissue the mount if the volsers do not match. It also causes CA VM:Tape to perform standard CA VM:Tape label processing for all other types of labels.

If you are using the Bin system, you should use the user exit BINEXIT3 5ASSEMBL prototype instead of the VMTEXIT3 prototype.
