Prototype

The name of the prototype exit is VMTUCMND XASSEMBL.

The prototype user exit examines all MOUNT and ALLOCATE commands for the DEN option. If the exit finds the DEN option, it makes no changes to the command. If it does not find the DEN option, it appends the DEN 38K option to the command. This prototype exit is meant as a sample only. It can be used by sites migrating to 3480 tape drives.
