Use the POOLASGN Record to specify the name of the scratch pool assignment file. The assignment file contains the scratch pool assignment rules that identify the DSNs and user IDs that can access the pools.

The POOLASGN Record is required if the POOLNAME Record is in the VMTAPE CONFIG file.
