The following provides a description of each parameter:
Specifies the stepname of an MVS job (stepname). Each stepname pattern is either an explicit stepname or stepname prefix with a trailing asterisk (that is, prefix* matching all stepnames beginning with prefix). All volumes with matching stepnames are included in the pointer file.
